  Besttime to visit Manali

There is no best time to visil Manali as this region enable you to experience the four seasons. Each season has its own characteristic that appeals.

  • The cool to warm spring months from March to may are when the flowers and gardens in manali are in full bloom. It is best time of year to visit the snow fields outside Manali and also when trekking or fishing may be considered.
  • The summer months from June to August are warm but still refreshingly pleasant in comparison to the hot plains of india. The arrival of the monsoon is inevitable and provides a refreshing aspect to the region. If you are planning a trip to the higher mountains in India, to Lahaul and Spity or even Ladakh, this is a good time because the monsoon has little impact in these areas.
  • Autumn from September to November sees the monsoon diminish and the skies clear. The temperature cools to a very pleasant and comfortable range where you need warmer at night. This is the best season for fishing, trekking and walking in the area.
  • Winter: When it snows Manali is spectacular and its resemblance to the mountain parts of Switzerland is more apparent and complete. Its cold and clear outside. Light the log fire in the room for warth and feel at home
