Mr. Roopu Negi our company founder, a skiing fanatic in his early days. He is one of the founder members of the first Skiing club (Winter Sports Club) in Manali. Having won the best skier award in 1978 and remained in skiing till 1986. Mr Roopu Negi has been an active participant and leader for trekking in Himalayas. In late seventies he made a small climbing expeditions to mountains around Manali. Along with his team they skied down the mountain peaks of Patalsu and Brighu. With ample experince and knowledge of industry soon after completing his graduation he founded Himalayan Adventurers in 1986. Today we serve as one of the first Adventure and cultural tour Company in Manali.
He was the first to operate the Grand Western Himalayan Jeep Safari from Shimla to Ladakh in 1993. Which is now a well-known tour circuit in the Western Himalayas. He has traveled extensively all over the Western Himalayas, including Zanskar, Ladakh, Spiti, Garhwal and other remote areas of Himachal. He has made a deep study of these areas, their unique and ancient culture and traditions. Now actively involved in promoting new and unexplored areas in the Western Himalaya. He has grown up with the company to see it evolve as one of the best adventure and travel company in the region.
Himalayan Adventurers is located in Manali, a mountainous state of Himachal Pradesh in India. Manali is strategically located at the foot of the 3978 mts. high Rohtang pass, on the ancient trade route to Ladakh and beyond. Manali makes an ideal starting point for trekking and jeep safaris to high regions of the Kinnaur, Lahaul Spiti, Pangi, Zanskar and Ladakh.
